Amy Rose is a childhood dream cosplay - she and the Sonic franchise mean so much to me that I needed to get it right, but also knew I’d never get there without a first attempt. This was one of my earliest self-patterned garments and my first time working with knit fabric, which proved way more challenging than expected. The hammer prop was equally ambitious given my limited budget and resources, but it's lasted me over half a decade! I'm already planning Amy 2.0 and hoping she will be even bigger and better than ever.
